Message	The next picture post I make will be of my car done in about a week woot! All final sanding, smoothing, and making all the body lines strait has begun and once thats done, it is time for paint and sanding. My daily driver is almost back! After two years of this crap, I am very excited. Here are pics for those that care :) New windows and moldings all going on! Rear Stoptechs as well. As far as my side skirts go, this is how I had them molded on to avoid stress cracks. We cut them into two totally seperate pieces. One goes on the bottom fenders and the rest goes on the rest of the car. The fender one I am not concerned about, b/c it is a glass sideskirt that is fiberglassed to a glass fender, so no worries there. I am personally not 100% sure about the longevity of the rest of the sideskirt, since it is a glass skirt that is fiberglassed to a metal body. the body shop did tell me that they used a special type of materil to help bond it though and they guarantee it will not crack, so I'll take their word for it. Also, they said if it ever cracks in 1, 5, 20 years, then they will gladly redo that part for me for free. Since I know them personally and they have been there for over 20 years already, I'm not worried about them keeping their word :) Only time will tell if it holds, but I'm sure it will..we'll see :) Also, the thickness of these pieces is not from lbs of bondo lol. It is actually hollow. A sheet of fiberglass was layed perpendicular with the gap, then smoothed down...not just 5 lbs of bondo on each..that would be homo my friends lol. My perfect interior :( Smoothing parts... widened rear bumper and widened front fenders with sideskirts blended on. It'll be nice to NOT see my car like this anymore =) Thanks for looking yall!
